Who am I?

I am Ana, teacher of Spanish as a foreign language and official guide of Galicia.

I am passionate about helping people connect with the Spanish language and culture, and have had the privilege of teaching Spanish to over 300 students from all over the world.

As an official guide of Galicia and a native of this beautiful region, I have explored it extensively, including the Camino Inglés on two occasions. On one of those occasions, I walked it with my students as part of a language immersion program, which allowed me to experience the wonders of the Camino firsthand and understand the specific needs of pilgrims.

In addition to my work as an online teacher and tour guide, I organize language immersion trips twice a year for students learning Spanish, combining learning and fun in an authentic and enriching environment.

My teaching experience and knowledge of the Camino de Santiago have allowed me to create a course specifically designed to help you communicate with confidence during your pilgrimage.

I don't know any Spanish, can I take this course?

Of course you can. This course is designed specifically for beginners, so no previous knowledge of the language is necessary. The content is straightforward, clear and designed to help you from the very beginning.

How much time do I need to dedicate to the course?

The course is designed to be flexible. With 30 minutes a day, you will be able to progress comfortably and prepare for the Camino, allowing you to advance at your own pace.

What if I can't attend live classes?

Don’t worry. If you can’t attend, you can watch the class recordings at your convenience. In addition, you will have access to the course content as many times as you need.

What kind of situations will I learn to handle in Spanish?

You will learn to communicate in very practical situations on the Camino:

Ordering food in a restaurant or bar.
Ask for directions or signage of the Camino.
Reservations in hostels and hotels.
Conversation with other pilgrims and locals.
Handling emergencies or unexpected situations.
