I teach Spanish to foreigners, I teach in-person language immersion programs for adult learners of Spanish and, in the evenings, I write in my journal.
I like to say that I have a creative diary because depending on my mood I draw, paint, write, make collages or blackout poetry. Sometimes I also write in the languages I learn.
Keeping a journal helps me to observe in more detail, to be grateful, to remember, to connect with myself and my surroundings and to find the extraordinary in the ordinary. Every day has something extraordinary, you just have to observe to find it.
I strongly believe in the power of writing and creativity and I want to share with you this habit that I find so useful.
